Garcia's Team

The Garcia’s Team is a real estate agent agency in Whittier, California. They need a functional website with their desired theme design and layout. Their team is famous in terms of buying and selling homes but something stopped them from being confident with engaging customers. That’s their company website.

The Challenge

With their agency of record, The Garcia’s Team had already gone through a thorough exploration, wireframe, and design process to frame the new website and include improved branding and neighborhood displays. The team needed a skilled developer to smoothly integrate the designs into the most recent WordPress version and connect all of the page components to a user-friendly back office for quick site modifications.

A lack of UX best practices on the old website frequently led to a poor user experience and uneven branding. Furthermore, the content was not particularly interesting, and the services were not meaningfully displayed.

The Solution

Given that we were taking over a project that was already underway, our first step was a thorough discovery with both teams to learn more about the project’s past and to choose the best course of action to satisfy client expectations and deadlines.

We were trying to figure out:

  • The background of the new designs
  • Any elements or features that the website had for the first time
  • Any integrations that would need to be built in, such as new technology to display 3D representations of each neighborhood

Comprehensive workshops to discuss Garcia’s Team design direction and philosophy as well as the functionality and user interface requirements for various site sections were part of this process.

A lack of UX best practices on the old website frequently led to a poor user experience and uneven branding. Furthermore, the content was not particularly interesting, and the services were not meaningfully displayed.

The Results

The newly updated design not only improved the way the brand and services were presented, it also made it quicker and simpler for The Garcia’s team to make changes to the website without involving a development resource. The data will guide next site changes and revisions and continues to show gains in user engagement.

By making changes based on actual user data and participation, we are continuously improving the website. In the meantime, the new website offers consumers a more organized experience that more effectively highlights the resources, neighborhoods, and brand.
